Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are married! Embracing their cultural roots, the couple celebrated their love for craftsmanship in traditional attires.
Celebrating love with tradition, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on December 4, 2024 at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Founded in 1976 by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather, the legendary actor-producer Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Annapurna Studios spans 22 acres in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Attended by close family and friends, the wedding ceremony saw the couple celebrate their special day in white and gold traditional attires.
The bride, Sobhita looked ethereal in a traditional gold kanjivaram silk saree featuring intricate gold zari work. The highlight of her opulent bridal wear was the luxurious traditional jewellery pieces. Every Telugu bride adorns classic jewellery pieces that celebrate her on the wedding day. From the matha patti, nose ring, jhumkas to the necklaces, armlet, bangles, rings and belt, every statement jewellery piece added traditional allure to Sobhita’s bridal look. She completed her bridal look with fragrant mogra flowers.
Sobhita exuded royalty in her bridal jewellery which further enhanced her bridal glow. Complementing his wife’s traditional allure, Naga Chaitanya paid tribute to his grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by donning the traditional ‘pancha’ reminiscent of his grandfather’s timeless style. He paired the pancha (dhoti) with a white kurta and angavastram (scarf).
Nagarjuna Akkineni posted a series of candid photographs of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala and wrote a heartfelt message for the newlyweds. He said, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita—you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives.”
