Xiaomi launched a host of new products on Thursday, including the Xiaomi 15 series, Xiaomi Pad 7 lineup, Xiaomi Watch S4, and Smart Band 9 Pro. The company also revealed the Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series of smart televisions. The lineup features 4K mini LED screens in four size options — 65, 75, 85 and 100-inch. The TVs are powered by quad-core Arm Cortex A73 MediaTek chipsets paired with G57 MC1 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB storage.

Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 Series Price

Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 lineup starts at CNY 4,599 (roughly Rs. 54,300) for the 65-inch option, while the 75-inch variant is listed at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 76,700) in China. The bigger 85-inch and 100-inch variants are marked at CNY 8,499 (roughly Rs. 1,00,300) and CNY 12,999 (roughly Rs. 1,53,500), respectively. All variants are available for purchase in the country via the Xiaomi China e-store.

Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 Series Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 100-inch sizes with 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution. They have a 240Hz refresh rate, 3,200nits of peak colour brightness, a wide colour gamut with 95 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and professional Delta E-rated colour accuracy. The TVs are equipped with “Qingshan Eye Care” technology that is said to help reduce strain on the viewers’ eyes.

Xiaomi has packed an unspecified quad-core Arm Cortex A73 MediaTek chipset in the Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series, paired with a G57 MC1 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB storage. The smart TVs have the company’s XM9000 picture quality enhancement and Master Quality Engine 2.0 chips as well. They run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 2 out-of-the-box. 

Connectivity options for the Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 2025 series include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2,  NFC, three HDMI 2.1, an eARC, and two USB ports. All variants come with a 2.1-channel cinema-grade sound system, including dual 15W and 30W speaker units. The TVs support Dolby Audio as well as Dolby Vision.

Xiaomi 15 was unveiled in China on Tuesday (October 29) alongside the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The new lineup comes as a successor to last year’s Xiaomi 14 duo and runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The vanilla Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,200nits, while the Pro model has a 2K resolution display. The Xiaomi 15 series runs on HyperOS 2 and features a Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Like their predecessors, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Xiaomi 15 Series Price

The standard Xiaomi 15 is priced at CNY 4,499 (roughly Rs. 52,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It costs CNY 4,799 (roughly Rs. 56,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, and CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 58,000) for the 16GB + 512GB model. The top-end version with 16GB + 1TB is priced at CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs. 65,000). It is offered in Asakusa Green, Bright Silver Edition, Black, Lilac, and White shades. 

Meanwhile, a Xiaomi 15 limited edition model is priced at CNY 5,999 for the 16GB + 1TB model. 

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15 Pro price starts at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 62,500) for the 12GB 256GB RAM and storage model. The price goes up to CNY 5,799 (roughly Rs. 68,000) for the 16GB + 512GB trim. The 16GB + 1TB configuration is priced at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 75,000). It is available in Bright Silver Edition, Rock Ash, Spruce Green, and White colourways. 

Xiaomi 15 Specifications

The dual SIM (Nano) Xiaomi 15 runs on the company’s new HyperOS 2 interface based on Android 15. It features a 6.36-inch 8T LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution (1,200×2,670 pixels) with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 3,200nit peak brightness. 

The new Xiaomi phone is the first to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It carries up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

For optics, the Xiaomi 15 has a Leica-branded triple rear camera unit with a Summilux lens. The camera arrangement includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 900 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) with f/1.62 aperture, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter. For selfies and video chats, it has a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Xiaomi 15 has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and supports a face unlock feature. It is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 port, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, linear motor, IR blaster, flicker sensor, and colour sensor. 

The Xiaomi 15 houses a 5,400mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It measures 152.3×71.2×8.08mm and weighs 191 grams.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro has the same SIM, software, water resistance rating, selfie camera and chipset as the vanilla model. The Pro model gets a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. It has a triple rear camera unit, comprising a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 900 main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera. 

Sensors and connectivity options on the Xiaomi 15 Pro are similar to the Xiaomi 15 model. It packs a 6,100mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. The phone measures 161.3×75.3×8.35mm and weighs around 213 grams. 

Xiaomi may be developing a small-screen smartphone for the company’s sub-brand Redmi which would offer near-flagship level performance, according to claims by a tipster. The purported Redmi device is speculated to have a compact form factor and could feature a similar screen size as the Xiaomi 14, which is part of the company’s flagship smartphone lineup. However, it may lack some features such as wireless charging or a telephoto camera lens, which are a staple of flagship handsets.

Responding to a query on the Chinese social media platform Weibo about Redmi jumping into the flagship smartphone market, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) suggested the company might actually have plans to do so. The purported handset would have a compact form factor with a 6.3-inch display, similar to the Xiaomi 14.

The tipster further hinted that it would be a high-performance sub-flagship handset. However, the Chinese smartphone maker might still cut some corners. For instance, it is speculated to miss out on two key features: wireless charging and a telephoto lens. The purported compact Redmi smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery.

Notably, this development comes days after the specifications of the Xiaomi 15 leaked online, hinting at its imminent launch in China.

Xiaomi released HyperOS in October last year alongside the Xiaomi 14 series as a replacement for its MIUI skin. Now the Chinese smartphone brand seems to be testing the next version of its custom Android interface — HyperOS 2.0 — on a limited number of devices. Xiaomi is yet to announce a release date for HyperOS 2.0 which is based on Android 15, but internal builds of the user interface have been discovered on several Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, including the upcoming Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.

According to a GizmoChina report, internal builds of HyperOS 2.0 were spotted on the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro with firmware version OS2.0.1.5.VOCCNXM and OS2.0.1.2.VOBCNXM, respectively. The publication also shared an image of the testing version installed on a Xiaomi handset.

The internal builds for the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra reportedly have firmware version OS2.0.0.24.VNCCNXM, OS2.0.0.22.VNBCNXM and OS2.0.0.16.VNACNXM, respectively. 

Xiaomi has not revealed the roadmap for HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, but the report claims that these Xiaomi devices will get the update initially — Xiaomi 13 Ultra,  Xiaomi Mix Fold, Xiaomi Mix Flip, Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Xiaomi Civi 2.

Internal testing of HyperOS 2.0 has started for the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, Redmi K70 Ultra, Redmi K60, Redmi K70E, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13R, according to the publication.

HyperOS 2.0 Features (Expected)

HyperOS 2.0 is expected to be unveiled later this month in China. The original HyperOS was first launched in China in October 2023. It arrived on the Xiaomi 14 series. Updates with the new interface were released in India earlier this year.

The HyperOS 2.0 is expected to bring several new features and AI-powered functionality for Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices. The update is expected to include a revamped Game Turbo mode with personalisation options. It could also include optimisation tools for enhancing gaming performance. It is likely to support the detection of hidden cameras through wireless local-area network (WLAN) searches.

Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 2024 series was launched in India on Monday in 43-inch and 55-inch variants. This is the first time the company has introduced a 55-inch Fire TV in the market. Both variants offer similar specifications across design, display quality, storage, and features. The noticeable difference is in the audio system where the 43-inch model gets 24W speakers and the 55-inch model is equipped with a 30W speaker system. Notably, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K series comes with an inbuilt Alexa voice assistant.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 2024 series starts at Rs. 23,499 for the 43-inch model. The 55-inch model is priced at Rs. 34,499. Notably, the prices include the introductory offer of Rs. 1,500 which is available when purchased with ICICI Bank credit and debit cards. The smart TVs go on sale starting September 18 and can be purchased on the official website or Flipkart.

Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 2024 Series Specifications

In a press release, Redmi stated that the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 2024 edition comes with a bezel-less design and features a 4K HDR display. The smart TV also features Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology for video processing. It also offers a picture-in-picture mode.

The smart TVs are equipped with a 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. With Fire TV integration, users can access more than 12,000 apps via the inbuilt App Store and browse and watch content across over-the-top (OTT) platforms such as Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, and more.

For connectivity, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K offers Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, AirPlay 2, and Miracast. The device can be set up to stream videos, share photos, and connect to external speakers or headphones.

Additionally, with the integrated Alexa voice assistant, users can control the TV and search content verbally. Alexa can also help with video recommendations. Further, the company states the smart TV can act as a central hub for other Alexa-compatible smart appliances and all of them can be controlled via voice.

Xiaomi just held its Smarter Living 2023 event in India on Thursday and launched a slew of products, including the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 series, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Mop-2i, and the latest Smart TV X Pro range. The new air purifier lineup from the Chinese tech giant comprises of two models — Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 and Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite. Both models feature triple-layer filtration technology and offer Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant support. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i includes a motor with 2,200pa suction output and houses 25 sensors. The robot vacuum cleaner can be controlled through Xiaomi Home App. Xiaomi has also added new products to its personal grooming portfolio — Xiaomi Grooming Kit and Xiaomi Trimmer 2C.

Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 series, Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Mop 2i price in India, availability

The new Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 carries a price tag of Rs. 13,999. It will be available for an early sale via Mi.com and retail partners starting April 20. It will go on sale via Amazon from April 23. The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 9,999. The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 and Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite come with Triple Layer Filtration that is claimed to remove up to 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns. They pack a negative ion generator for eliminating airborne particles including pollen, animal dander, dust, and mould spores. They come with 360° filtration and a True HEPA Filter.

Xiaomi’s Smart Air Purifier 4 is rated to offer a Particle Clean Air Delivery Rate (PCADR) of up to 400m3/h. It is said to be capable of circulating air of up to 516 square feet within 10 minutes. The toned-down model, Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier Lite, comes with a PCADR of up to 360m3/h and is said to deliver up to 6,000 litres of clean air per minute.

The new portable air purifiers feature OLED displays with two touch controls that give users a glimpse of particle pollution by showing PM 2.5 levels, temperature, humidity, and Wi-Fi connection. They can also be connected to the smart app with Google Assistant as well as Amazon Alexa.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 makes 32.1dB of noise, while the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite has 33.4dB of noise. The former is said to consume 3W power in sleep mode.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i specifications

The latest 2-in-1 robotic vacuum cleaner comes with cleaning and mopping capabilities and features 25 high-precision sensors including a wall sensor, collision sensor, cliff sensor, and wheel speed sensor among others. It has a height of 81.3mm.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i uses 2,200Pa suction power and follows a zig-zag cleaning pattern. It includes a 450ml independent dust compartment. The battery is said to clean 1200 square feet in up to 100-minute run time.

Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i has remote control support and can be connected to the Mi Home app. Users can customise cleaning schedules, adjust cleaning modes and water levels, track device location, and more via the connected app. It supports Google Assistant as well as Amazon Alexa.
