Move over Zomato and Swiggy, there’s a new food delivery service in town, and it’s powered by pure love and cuteness! An Instagram reel shared by the handle ‘@twinsmomtales’ has gone viral for all the right reasons, showing a little boy on a baby tricycle delivering parathas inside his house with a style and speed that even professional couriers would envy. In the clip, the child is seen on his tricycle going around the house. He heads straight to the kitchen, where his mother hands him a plate of parathas. Instead of balancing it precariously in his tiny hands, the clever lad lifts the seat of his tricycle to reveal a secret compartment — possibly his personal delivery box. Safely tucking the plate under the seat, he zooms off to another room, where his father is seated for a meal. The little delivery champ takes the parathas out, places them on the plate, and is rewarded with a warm hug by his dad.

A text on the video reads, “Food delivery faster than Zomato and Swiggy.” Even the post’s caption compared Zomato and Swiggy with the little boy, playfully declaring him the ultimate delivery service.

Take a look at the clip here:

With over 13.7 lakh likes and 21 million views, the reel has gone viral on Instagram, sparking joy and laughter across social media. Swiggy‘s official accounts couldn’t resist commenting either.

Swiggy cheekily admitted defeat with, “Yahan hum nahi jeet sakte (We can’t win here),” while Swiggy Instamart joined the banter with, “Competition badhiya ja raha hai (The competition is going great).” Swiggy Genie rounded things off with their comment, “Humari taraf se 5-star rating (5-star rating from our side).”

The comments section continued to overflow with adoration and humour from viewers. One user gushed, “Delivering right into the plate with love.” Another, with a playful touch, said, “Rating de dena! (Don’t forget to give a rating).”

With his tricycle and a plate of love, this “personal delivery boy” has truly won hearts across the internet.

Are your kitchen drawers cluttered with packets of free ketchup and oregano from fast food chains? Is it just a small stack, or do you have a grand collection that you’re proud of? In a viral Instagram video, content creator, Sarthak Sachdeva, went on a mission to collect free ketchup from food outlets in a mall in Pune. He brought along a large glass jar to fill it with ketchup without spending a single penny. He started at the McDonald’s outlet, where he managed to gather a good number of free ketchup packets. Afterwards, he decided to try another restaurant, admitting, “Bhai McDonald’s main aur sauce maangne mein sharam aa rahi hai [Now I am feeling embarrassed to ask for more ketchup at McDonald’s].”

After visiting KFC, he left with 25 extra ketchup packets. With this sizable collection, he began filling a jar, but it hardly made a dent in the current stock of over 40 packets. Next, he went to Pizza Hut, where he discovered bottled ketchup, and he ended up emptying five bottles into the jar. In the end, he had a jar filled with 2.5 litres of free ketchup.

The video clocked more than 10 million views and received a range of reactions in the comments section:

Bhai Delhi mein to Re. 1 per sachet lete hai [In Delhi they charge Re. 1 per sachet],” a viewer shared. Another wondered, “What will you do with so much ketchup?”

Seeing how much free ketchup was taken by a single person, one said, “Now Pizza Hut will stop providing sauce bottles.”

Viral Video Shows British Vendor Selling Kolkata-Style Jhalmuri In London https://thenewshub.in/2024/10/21/viral-video-shows-british-vendor-selling-kolkata-style-jhalmuri-in-london/ https://thenewshub.in/2024/10/21/viral-video-shows-british-vendor-selling-kolkata-style-jhalmuri-in-london/?noamp=mobile#respond Mon, 21 Oct 2024 09:12:54 +0000 https://thenewshub.in/2024/10/21/viral-video-shows-british-vendor-selling-kolkata-style-jhalmuri-in-london/

There is something truly magical about Kolkata, especially when it comes to street food. Among the many delectable treats, jhalmuri stands out as a popular snack, with its combination of puffed rice, spices and fresh ingredients. For many who have left the city, the longing for a taste of home can be overwhelming, but one man’s unexpected encounter in London reminded him that home is never too far away. While exploring the streets of London, a food vlogger stumbled upon a stall that brought the essence of Kolkata to life. He was drawn to a familiar setup called the Jhalmuri Express, where a British vendor had recreated the classic Kolkata snack. The stall featured an authentic Indian-style trolley, laden with both steel and plastic containers.

In a video posted on Instagram, we see the vendor expertly preparing the jhalmuri. With a skilled hand, he puts some puffed rice (muri) into a steel vessel and adds a generous handful of fresh coriander leaves. He then adds an array of spices, followed by freshly chopped cucumbers and onions. The vendor mixes everything with a long, thin knife and squeezes fresh lemon juice over the mixture.

The final touch was the preparation of a classic serving cone made from old newspapers – just like Indian street food vendors do. For the final step, the vendor added a drizzle of imli chutney to the mix and garnished it with bhujia and masala. Taking a bite, the vlogger described the dish as “Kolkata style, authentic and spicy jhalmuri in London.”

The video soon went viral and people flocked to the comments section.

A user wrote, “Chaaku Tak same hai (even the knife is the same).” Another joked, “Uncle completed 6 months diploma in jhalmuri marking.”

“I wanna know his story,” a comment read. Another joked, “Britishers after colonising India for 200 years,” read a comment.
