Her inspiration for designing her abode was warmth, belonging, and feeling like herself when she was home. Her place has a unique vibe with her personalized touches, pastel tones, and cozy areas.

The recent interview allows viewers a glimpse into her abode as well as her childhood home. In the video, Ananya Panday stated that her father grew up in the building where she lives now. She also conducted a tour of her parents’ luxury home, located downstairs. Her new home is located in the same building where her father has lived since 1971. In her own home, the actress revealed that her favourite spot to hang out is her living room. She stated, “The idea of home, for me, is a sense of belonging, about feeling like myself. But above all, it always means family.”

The apartment has a lavish balcony that opens up to a stunning view of nature. It also features a cozy reading corner, a dedicated space for her pet dog Riot, art pieces, warm lighting, and cozy seating arrangements that allow the actor to host friends. The pastel tones, such as pink and green, provide a vibrant and natural touch to her home. The handwritten extracts on the walls and quirky wallpapers add to the charm.

She also provided a tour of her big walk-in wardrobe and the door painted pastel pink leading to it. Her wardrobe design had a large mirror and soft lighting. She also stated that, while she wasn’t sold on the pink colour in the beginning phases of building her home, she can’t imagine her room without it now. In contrast, Ananya’s parents’ home is decorated in a modern French style, with monochromatic flooring and a colourful velvet sofa that reflects their vivacious personalities.

Earlier, Ananya had shared a look at her new home, which was designed by none other than Gauri Khan, and thanked her for the same. She wrote, “My first home… my dream home. Thank you Gauri Khan no one could have understood exactly what I wanted better than you and made it so so so special for me you’re the best, love you!!!” In the pictures, Ananya was seen posing with the celebrated designer as well.

Ananya Panday’s younger sister, Rysa, is all set to make her debut at the le Bal des Débutantes (also known as Le Bal) in Paris. Ahead of her Saturday debut, the official page of Le Bal took to their Instagram to share pictures of Rysa trying out stunning gowns by Elie Saab. Apart from Ananya, Rysa’s friends Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Khan commented on her looks.

But what exactly is the Le Bal?

English traditions have often stressed the importance of a debutante ball where young ladies were presented before the Queen. This tradition was of utmost importance in the 18th century. To give an event like this a modern touch, Ophelie Renouard came up with the idea of Le Ball in 1994.

Le Ball brings together twenty young women, in the age group of 16 to 21, and introduces them to the high society. The women are handpicked by Renouard from fields like arts, culture, entertainment, business, and even royalty. The event is a strictly invite-only gala and the women are dressed in fine gowns from brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, and more. Apart from dancing with their cavaliers, the debutants also perform a waltz with their fathers. Unlike the traditional balls which were an event to look out for potential life partners, Le Ball is more of a networking event for high society members.

The ball raises money for charities that support young women. As reported by Vogue, the Le Bal raises money for Enfants d’Asie which promotes education for young girls in South East Asia, and the Seleni Institute of New York City, which provides support and care to teenage mothers. Attendees make the donations at their discretion.
