Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, Sh. L. Venkateshwarlu, has confirmed that District Electoral Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) are under explicit instructions to conduct meticulous scrutiny of all such applications.
