K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak) return with their much-anticipated 1st Digital Single, IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU. This release follows the massive success of their million-selling 3rd EP 19.99, released in September 2024.

The upbeat dance track IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU seamlessly blends BOYNEXTDOOR’s signature wit with an emotive edge. Written in part by members Taesan and Woonhak, the song juxtaposes self-deprecating, almost pitiful lyrics with a vibrant band-driven melody, capturing the raw essence of heartbreak. “The beauty of this track lies in its natural flow,” said Woonhak. “As a breakup song reflecting the perspective of our generation, every part stands out with a unique charm.”
BOYNEXTDOOR members reportedly actively conceptualized and produced the single. Reflecting on their journey, the group shared, “Our fans’ love and support gave us incredible strength this past year. We wanted to give back to them with this song, especially to those who couldn’t join us on tour. This track is our heartfelt gift, and we hope ONEDOOR enjoys it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
ABOUT THE WINTER-THEMED MUSIC VIDEO
The accompanying music video adds a cinematic touch, depicting a young boy whose failed confession causes him to split into six distinct personalities—each embodied by a group member. From snowball fights to laundry chores, and playful moments with balloons and bubbles, the members each navigate the lingering emotions of rejection. Set against a wintry backdrop, the visuals enhance the bittersweet tone, offering a relatable and mesmerizing experience.
The band added, “This single explores the ‘what if’ of experiencing heartbreak, marking a fresh narrative following the bold confidence of 19.99. We hope listeners find solace and see themselves in the story.”
