Indian batsman Virat Kohli was involved in a brief altercation with media personnel at Brisbane Airport after the third Test against Australia. The incident unfolded when Kohli, accompanied by his family, arrived at the airport and found himself being filmed by cameras, sparking a heated response from the cricketer.

Kohli, known for his desire to keep his personal life out of the media spotlight, appeared agitated when he noticed his children being captured on camera. The confusion arose when a group of journalists, who were interviewing Australian pacer Scott Boland, shifted their focus to Kohli and his family.

“It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children,” a reporter at the scene said, as quoted by local news.

Kohli, visibly upset, confronted a reporter, demanding respect for his privacy. “With my kids, I need some privacy, you can’t film without asking me,” Kohli was overheard saying during the exchange.

The situation was diffused after the media crew assured Kohli that his children were not being filmed. Following the clarification, the cricketer appeared to calm down and even shook hands with the cameraman.
