The price of gold in Pakistan decreased by a slight Rs800 on Monday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs800, settling at Rs277,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs687, taking it to Rs237,482.
In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $8 on Monday, reaching $2,658 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market, however, remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola.
On Friday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by a massive Rs5,000, settling at Rs277,800. Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold was priced at Rs238,169 after a decrease of Rs4,286. For those interested in 22-karat gold, the price for 10 grams stood at Rs218,321. In the international market, the gold price per ounce saw a decline of $50, taking it to $2,666.
