Rohit Sharma may not brag about his fashion taste but his collection of wristwatches is truly fascinating. The Indian captain is currently in Australia to play the iconic Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ahead of the second match of the Test series, all members of the Indian team met Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. At the event, Rohit was captured wearing a Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time Reference 5164– a luxury watch estimated to have a price of around Rs 60 lakh. Not only for its jaw-dropping value, but this timepiece is also quite popular for its elegant yet minimal design.

Patek Philippe ranks among the oldest and most premium brands in the world. Many celebrities have been found out to be a fan of this Swiss watchmaker. Patek Philippe offers several models both in the casual and luxury categories.

The Aquanaut Travel Time, belonging to Rohit Sharma, comes from the company’s premium segment. Some Patek Philippe watches are especially designed as collector’s items and cost millions of dollars. The Aquanaut Travel Time is also available in multiple versions, with the price ranging from Rs 60 lakh to one crore.

The Reference 5164 model that Rohit Sharma had worn during the meeting with the Australian PM costs nearly Rs 63.5 lakh. It has been a great choice for frequent travellers who prefer lightweight watches with a compact design.

The watch comes in a premium case made with silver-tone stainless steel. It features a black, rubber composite strap and a patented white gold fold-over clasp. The dial is also black and comes with Patek Philippe’s signature Aquanaut pattern.

The watch displays dual time zones featuring a day-night indicator. The strap and the opaline blue-grey dial look great together, offering a sleek yet striking appearance.

Rohit Sharma’s luxury watch collection also includes Hublot and Rolex. He was spotted wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar after winning the T20 World Cup in Barbados earlier this year. That watch is estimated to be priced at nearly Rs 1.75 crore.

Speaking about his current form, Rohit Sharma was unable to showcase his A-game with the bat in the second Test of the ongoing series in Australia. He managed only nine runs across the two innings as India lost the pink-ball game by ten wickets at Adelaide. The third Test is scheduled to start on December 14 at The Gabba, Brisbane.
