Michele Morrone has denied rumours that say he’s dating Megan Fox, which ignited after a flirty clip of a pair resurfaced, amid the actress’ split from Machine Gun Kelly.
“Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue,” a spokesperson for the Italian actor made it clear, as per TMZ, about the nature of the Subservience co-stars’ relationship, on Tuesday.
“They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project.
An insider also clarified to Page Six that the two actors are not romantically involved.
“The video was taken a long time ago while they were filming,” the source shared, adding that Fox, 38, and Morrone, 34, are just co-stars.
The speculation began when a behind-the-scenes clip from the movie’s set went viral.
In the lighthearted video, Fox can be seen leaning on Morrone and smiling as she playfully teaches him how to pronounce “Spongebob,” a word he struggled with due to his accent.
Before the clip ends, the duo exchange smiles, and Fox quips, “What is this for?!”
Fans quickly noticed the on-screen chemistry, with one commenting, “Honestly if Megan Fox dumped MGK for this fine man, I would not blame her AT ALLLLL.”
Another speculated, “He wants her omfg.”
The viral video surfaced amid reports that Fox and her fiancé, MGK (formerly Machine Gun Kelly), ended their relationship over Thanksgiving weekend.
According to TMZ, the couple, who were in Vail, Colorado, allegedly split after Fox discovered something troubling on MGK’s phone. The Jennifer’s Body star reportedly left their getaway early, with MGK departing shortly afterward.
The breakup news followed the pair’s recent announcement that they were expecting their first child together on Nov. 11.
