David Beckham has shared his first social media post after King Charles major decision about the former football legend’s knighthood.
According to reports, Beckham will not receive a knighthood from King Charles this year despite close ties with the royal family.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the insider claimed: “It’s not happening for David this time around.”
The royal source further claimed instead of David Beckham, Gareth Southgate, England’s former manager who resigned earlier in the summer, will receive the title.
The insiders said: “It’s Gareth’s big hurrah and David is thrilled for him.”
Amid these claims, David Beckham took to Instagram and shared a photo of team boss Zak Brown from a celebratory party, after Lando Norris clinched McLaren´s first team title in 26 years on Sunday when he drove to a calm and accomplished victory ahead of two chasing Ferraris at the season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Sharing the photo, David Beckham said, “Congratulations, amazing achievement” followed by a heart emoji.
