Daniel Craig, who has been a vital part of the Bond films from 2006 till 2021, revealed how films’ fame messed up his thought process.
As per the actor, the immense success of the franchise made him blind. He was getting paid enough, that it almost made him feel that there is no need to find other work.
“Early on with Bond I thought I had to do other work, but I didn’t. I was becoming a star, whatever that means, and people wanted me in their films. Incredible”, Craig told The Sunday Times.
He went on to say, “Most actors are out of work for large chunks, so you take your job offers – but they left me empty. Then, bottom line, I got paid.”
The 56-year-old actor admitted that there a came a point in his life where he felt so exhausted of the Bond role, it strung him out.
“I was so exhausted at the end of a Bond it would take me six months to recover emotionally. I always had the attitude that life must come first and, when work came first for a while, it strung me out”, concluded Daniel.
Now, the makers have decided to make a new Bond film and the Queer actor has already ruled out of the film.
