Joe Jonas just discussed his experience of moving to Miami.
Around seven years ago, the popular Jonas Brothers star moved to the city in Florida and on December 6, at an Art Basel called The Wellness Oasis he has now admitted that he “fell in love” with Miami.
“Honestly, it is grounding,” he stated as per PEOPLE.
“There’s sometimes the eye roll of people like, ‘You live in Miami? Is it just clubs everywhere.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, there’s clubs everywhere, but you can also go to the beach and relax and watch the sunset,’” Joe said, defending the city.
The 35-year-old Do It Like That musician continued by calling the city “really beautiful” explaining how living there gives the impression of “just a slower pace of life.”
Additionally, Joe has also admitted that moving Miami has also influenced his music taste, inclining him towards Cuban Jazz and realized how his profession helps him connect with people on another level.
“It’s a delicate dance of how much you’re willing to share and how much you’re willing keep to yourself and what you leave up to mystery,” the Only Human hitmaker stated, adding, “I think that’s kind of the fun and I find that a great challenge as a songwriter.”
“When I go to create, I’m like, ‘Well, I want this to be relatable to a lot of different people.’ You’re so vulnerable when you release music or you’re on stage, and I really try to make an effort to share my heart and give it all,” Joe Jonas concluded.
