From intricate lehengas to stylish Indo-Western ensembles, Bollywood actresses set the festive fashion bar high this time. However, it was Alia Bhatt’s thoughtful and unique sustainable fashion choice this Diwali that truly took the spotlight, capturing the admiration of fashion enthusiasts everywhere.

Ditching the usual bling, Alia Bhatt opted for a stunning re-ceremonial saree, which is indeed a masterclass in itself. The actress’s ochre and gold Bibi saree is plant-dyed with marigolds from the Siddhivinayak temple, showcasing the perfect blend of heritage textiles and modern eco-friendly chic. Bhatt’s stylist, Ami Patel, picked the silk organza saree to add an oomph factor to her eco-friendly festival look. The saree, beautifully crafted with glass beads and hand-embroidered with vintage Banarasi panels, embodies the brand’s ethos of re-wearing valued pieces. The designers plant-dyed the vintage fragments of the sarees to the airy organza to craft drapes for modern ceremonial wear. This piece is priced at Rs. 82,500 on the brand’s website.

Bhatt teamed her look with a Ruhani choli. The blouse is made in aged metal Gota with adjustable side seams, which adapt to the wearer’s evolving measurements and can also be shared between siblings or friends. For accessories, she opted for statement earrings adorned with onyx detailing and a kadha. Bhatt’s makeup artist, Riviera Lynn, opted for her signature dewy glow with glossy lips. She also went for a contoured jawline and added an ample amount of highlighter on her T-zone. Shimmery brown eyeshadow with thin strokes of eyeliner rounded off her look. Moreover, a tiny black bindi was enough to spread the magic of her aura.

Not only this, Ranbir Kapoor and his daughter, Raha Kapoor, also twinned with Alia Bhatt on matching ochre-hued ensembles, plant-dyed with flowers from Siddhivinayak temple. The three of them served pure family goals, and Raha’s sweetness won millions of hearts online.

While the actor wore a kurta paired with white pants. On the other hand, their princess wore a co-ord set with ruffle detailing on the sleeves of the kurta and a shimmery golden border on the edges.
