Are self-centered or too giving in relationships?

Optical illusion personality test are psychology-based pictures that work as tricks to the eye– the images have one or more elements that can be interpreted in different ways by people. Depending on what a person sees first in these strange images, their hidden and often lesser-known personality traits can be understood– and hence, they are aptly named so.
This particular image was initially shared by Thewonderlist, and it claims to reveal if a person is too self-centered or too giving in relationships. How, one may wonder? Well, the image has two main elements– the bright orange colour at the center, and the two thumbs on the sides. Based on what a person notices first can reveal their nature.
To take the test, simply look at the image above and note what you saw first. Now read its interpretation below:
1. If you noticed the bright orange colour at the center of the image first
Then it means that you are self-centered– which is a great quality to have. Being self-centered makes you good at organising and working on your goals. You are also a born leader and very responsible as a person– be it in your personal or professional life– which makes you quite reliable. In personal life, being self-centered helps in keeping unnecessary drama and stress at bay and living a peaceful and content life.
2. If you noticed the black thumbs in the image first
On the contrary, if you noticed the two thumbs in the image first then it means that you are more interested in other people’s lives, which also makes you empathetic towards others. When others are in need, you go out of your way to help them. This also makes you too giving in relationships at times, which might end up hurting you in the process.
While these tests are fun to take, one must note that they are not 100 per cent true as they give generic results, and are not tailor-made for people. However, they do help in knowing someone’s lesser-known personality traits.
